4 c brocolli
3.5 c chicken broth
4 cloves garlic
3 cups pre-shredded cheddar cheese
1 c heavy whipping cream
In a large pot over medium heat, saute garlic for about a minute.
Add Chicken broth, heavy cream, and chopped broccoli. Increase heat to bring to boil then reduce heat and simmer for 10-20 minutes until broccoli is tender.
Add shredded cheese gradually, stirring constantly and continue to stir until melted. Make sure to keep it at a low simmer and avoid high heat to prevent seizing. Remove from heat immediately once cheese is melted.
If you can’t eat shrimp, you can substitute any mild white fish, or even chicken, for the protein in this recipe and it will taste just as amazing!
